This beautiful home is settled in a quaint little cove off of SeaBee Avenue in Naples, just east of Vanderbilt Beach and west of Naples Park. The roof was installed to satisfy our coastal installation requirements, testing at over 290 mph wind uplift, making it almost impossible to be damaged by the high winds of southwestern Florida. It was installed by Douglass Restoration out of Port Charlotte, Florida, replacing a prior concrete tile roof that had been damaged by hurricane winds. The new roof consists of high-temperature self-adhering underlayment and battens that provide dead air space between the existing decking and the new roof, creating insulation. The new MMR Spanish tile roof is made from 032 aluminum in an Energy Star-rated copper penny color, then powder-coated with our patented style to give the roof the greatest armor a metal roof can have, protecting both the roof and house from any of the elements Mother Nature can throw at it.
